MANILA, Philippines (AP) — Champion boxer Manny Pacquiao isn’t planning on letting his new job as a congressman in the Philippines curtail training for his bout.

Pacquiao, who is likely to fight former welterweight champion Antonio Margarito on Nov. 13, says he will sleep and train in his office in the House of Representatives when it is in session.

The 31-year-old told reporters that the sprawling congressional compound in the suburbs of the capital Manila is spacious enough for him to jog around. Pacquiao says “it’s just a matter of time management.”

In May, Pacquiao won an election to represent his impoverished southern province of Sarangani. His website says he has already authored or sponsored four bills.
