SEATTLE (AP) — A former Snohomish County planning director who drunkenly exposed himself to a woman during a golf tournament has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors.
Craig Ladiser was fired from his job after an investigation ordered by the Snohomish County executive found Ladiser had been drinking heavily during the June 2009 golf tournament hosted by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.
On Tuesday, the 60-year-old Ladiser entered a modified guilty plea in King County Superior Court to one count each of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation and indecent exposure. Under an agreement with prosecutors, Ladiser could receive a suspended sentence Sept. 3.
Ladiser’s Alford plea means he did not admit guilt but acknowledged a jury likely would convict him. His lawyer Ralph Hurvitz says Ladiser has no recollection of the incident.
