It’s been a busy summer for Vancouver singer-songwriter Justin Klump.

The Mountain View High School graduate, 27, is currently working on new material. He isn’t working on an album, but rather plans to shop his tunes to radio stations, or sell them for use on television and film.

Fans wanting to hear the songs won’t be shut out though. The tracks will turn up on Klump’s website at http://justinklump.com.

“They’re more accessible,” he said. “They’re a little bit easier to sing along to.”

In addition to recording, Klump has been busy performing along the West Coast. He recently took the stage in Seattle and Los Angeles.

Klump also performed in July as part of the Terry Lee, Attorney Noon Concerts series in downtown Vancouver’s Esther Short Park.

“It was great,” he said. “I feel like we had a receptive and welcoming crowd.”

Even with the busy schedule, Klump said he isn’t planning on slowing down.

“It’s getting busy again, which is exciting, because it means there’s a lot going on,” he said. “I like to be busy.”
