BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) — Washington County deputies are looking for the car that struck and killed an 18-year-old man at Beaverton.
The sheriff’s office says Cassidy Rangwald and his sister were walking on the shoulder of a road Thursday afternoon when he was struck from behind and thrown about 20 feet. He was unconscious when he was taken to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland where a nursing supervisor said Friday that he died overnight.
Deputies are trying to sort out two different descriptions of the vehicle that left the scene.
