LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Darryl Shazier scored 15 points to lead Bucknell to a 73-68 victory over Columbia on Wednesday night.
Cameron Ayers added 14 points as the Bison (3-6) defeated Columbia (3-4) for the first time since 2002 to halt a three-game losing streak.
Bucknell led throughout the second half despite shooting 24.2 percent from the field (8 for 33) in the final 20 minutes.
The Bison led 68-58 on Joe Willman’s layup with 1:02 left, before the Lions rallied with two 3-pointers and cut the margin to 72-68 on Brian Barbour’s layup with 6 seconds remaining.
