Morgenstern claims ski jumping World Cup win

LILLEHAMMER, Norway (AP) — Thomas Morgenstern of Austria earned his first ski jumping World Cup win of the season on the large hill in Lillehammer on Saturday.

Morgenstern scored 284.1 points over two rounds to hold off the challenge of Johan Remen Evensen of Norway. He finished with 276.9 points for second, ahead of Tom Hilde of Norway with 272.8.
