GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Wide receiver Greg Jennings is active and will start for the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s game against San Francisco.

Jennings missed practice time during the week because of a foot injury. Outside linebacker Clay Matthews also will start for the Packers after being limited in practice because of a shin injury.

Atari Bigby (hamstring) and Anthony Smith (ankle) are inactive for the Packers, leaving them thin at safety.

Newly signed kicker Jeff Reed replaces Joe Nedney for the 49ers. Nedney is out with a knee injury. Linebacker Travis LaBoy will replace Parys Haralson at linebacker.
