Bentley, a Lhasa apso, appears to be in the holiday spirit as he cuddles with Santa for a glamour shot Sunday. Bentley’s owner, Jan Johnson of Vancouver, and about 30 other owners paid $25 to have seasonal images taken at All Natural Pet Supply in Hazel Dell. The weekend event was a benefit for the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. “We had four white German shepherds that were able to get all posed at one time for 12 remarkable shots,” said Chuck Tourtillott, executive director of the local Humane Society. “We also had a 140-pound Newfoundland. He behaved just fine.” This has been a good year for the Humane Society, Tourtillott said, noting the adoption rate has been 75 percent higher than the 2009 figure. As for Santa, that’s Lisa Ziomkowski-Boten.
