BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — Vandals have slashed more than 100 tires in the East Bremerton area, damaging more than 80 vehicles.

Kitsap County sheriff’s spokesman Scott Wilson says neighborhoods on both sides of State Highway 303 were hit. Both the sheriff’s office and Bremerton police are involved in the investigation.

No arrests so far in the attacks that happened Saturday night or early Sunday.

Jennifer Chamberlin rode her bike to work on Monday. Her 1999 Kia Sephia sits at a Bremerton auto shop with two flat tires. But she tells the Kitsap Sun it could have been worse: one of her neighbors paid $500 to replace all four of the tires the vandals slashed. And two more of his vehicles were targeted as well.
