SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Jurors will continue deliberating Wednesday in the case of a father and son accused of planting a bomb that killed two police officers.

Marion County Circuit Court Judge Tom Hart sent the case to jurors on Tuesday afternoon. Bruce Turnidge and his son Josh are each charged with 18 counts. If convicted of the most serious charges of aggravated murder, jurors will be asked whether the men should be sentenced to death.

Prosecutors say the father and son planted a bomb at the West Coast Bank in Woodburn two years ago. The men deny involvement and each has blamed the other.
