Wright State defeats Tusculum 60-47

FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP) — Troy Tabler scored 15 points to lead four in double figures as Wright State defeated Tusculum 60-47 on Saturday.

Vaughn Duggins added 13, Cooper Land 11 and Matt Vest 10 for the Raiders (5-5). It was Wright State’s second straight win following a four-game skid. The Raiders have won 11 straight at home, dating back to last season.

The Raiders trailed 25-22 at halftime and improved their shooting percentage from 27.8 in the first half (5 of 18) to 50 percent in the second (10 of 20).

Wright State finished shooting just 39.5 percent from the field (15 of 38) but was 26 of 31 from the free-throw line. Vest (8 of 8), Duggins (7 of 7) and Tabler (4 of 4) were all perfect from the foul line.

Kevin Vest was the lone scorer in double figures with 14 points for the Division II Pioneers (4-6).

Tusculum made 11 of 17 field goals in the first half (64.7 percent).
