ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Ryan Rossiter scored 27 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead Siena past Florida Atlantic 72-69 on Monday night.

The Saints led 66-51 following a free throw from Clarence Jackson with 5:53 left to play but a 16-3 run capped by a layup from FAU’s Alex Tucker pulled the Owls within two, 69-67, with 51 seconds to go.

Shavar Richardson hit a layup with 5 seconds to go, cutting FAU’s deficit to 70-69. Two free throws from Jonathan Breeden sealed the win for Siena (3-6) as Tucker’s last-second 3 missed the mark.

Richardson led the Owls (6-5) with 16 points. Greg Gantt added 15 points and seven rebounds for FAU in the loss.

The win snapped a three-game skid for the Saints.

Jackson finished with 20 points and eight rebounds for Siena. Rossiter shot 73.3 percent from the floor (11 of 15) for his 12th double-double in his last 14 games dating back to last season.
