Wet week in store for Clark County

The weekly forecast features rain and lots of it.

The National Weather Service predicts a 60 percent chance of rain today, with clouds hanging overhead until 7 p.m. Today, though, comes with a delightfully warm 54-degree high.

Tuesday through Friday: Rainy and cold.

Here’s the rest of the week’s forecast:

Tuesday: Showers. Temperature falling to around 42 by 4pm. Southwest wind between 14 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Tuesday Night: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 37. South southwest wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Wednesday: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 44. South wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 34. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43.

Thursday Night: Rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.

Friday: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 41.

Friday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 34.
