The Vancouver Police Department is joining with Nautilus to provide needy kids with a Saturday shopping spree.

The Seventh annual Nautilus Holiday Helpers takes place at Target, 16200 N.E. Mill Plain Blvd. Sixty-five children, selected by local social service agencies, will participate.

Nautilus donated the money for the event and Panera Bread is providing drinks and refreshments.

Police officers will walk the aisles with children as they select toys and other merchandise that line the retailer’s shelves.
