HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans’ lofty goals for this season are virtually out of reach after another heartbreaking loss.

All that’s left to accomplish now is winning the final three games and breaking even for the third time in four years.

Houston rallied from 21 points down against Baltimore on Monday night, only to lose 34-28 in overtime when Josh Wilson intercepted Matt Schaub’s pass and returned it 12 yards for a touchdown.

The Texans (5-8) are on the verge of elimination from playoff contention heading into Sunday’s game at Tennessee (5-8). If Jacksonville wins one of its last three games, Houston will miss the postseason for the ninth straight year of the franchise’s existence.

Coach Gary Kubiak says the team can only move on to Sunday’s game and work to eliminate the mistakes that cost them against the Ravens.
