OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Washington state’s jobless rate for November is the same as October’s, with only an estimated net gain of 100 jobs statewide over the month.
The state Employment Security Department says November’s unemployment rate was 9.2 percent — the same as the revised figure for October. Nationally, the November rate was 9.8 percent.
Nearly 322,000 people in Washington were unemployed and looking for work last month, while about 240,000 received unemployment benefits from the state.
