WASHINGTON (AP) — Washington Wizards forward Yi Jianlian says he expects to miss 2-to-4 weeks because of a sprained right knee.

Yi had an MRI on Wednesday after he was hurt in the first quarter Tuesday night in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Acquired in an offseason trade with the New Jersey Nets, he’s averaging 6.7 points.

Coach Flip Saunders says the Wizards also will likely have to make do without guard John Wall and forward Andray Blatche on Thursday night at New Jersey.

Wall has tendinitis in his right knee. The No. 1 overall pick has already missed eight games this season, mostly with left foot and left knee injuries.

Blatche has a sore left knee.
