TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Kevin Parrom hit a late off-balance jumper for a three-point play and had a superb all-around game, helping Arizona hold off Northern Arizona 63-58 Thursday night.

Parrom finished with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists to give Arizona (9-2) a chance after a miserable first half and a game full of defensive miscues.

Parrom scored his three-point play with 51 seconds left, and Brendon Lavender, who hit two big 3-pointers in the second half, sealed the Wildcats’ 27th straight win over Northern Arizona (7-4) with a steal and a breakaway dunk.

Derrick Williams had 17 points 3-of-8 shooting, and the Wildcats allowed Northern Arizona to shoot 53 percent even after it had travel problems that delayed the game an hour.

Cameron Jones scored 27 points for the Lumberjacks, who led by as much as 12 in the first half and outrebound Arizona by 10.
