PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police have sent their Special Emergency Response Team to a Friday morning shooting at an apartment in southeast Portland.
The Oregonian reports the SERT unit was activated before 5 a.m.
Sgt. Pete Simpson says as many as 10 shots were fired inside an apartment.
Police have evacuated nearby residents of the Ventura Park Plaza. They are being kept warm in a bus provided by TriMet.
