RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Seattle coach Pete Carroll says he isn’t rushing to make a decision about who the Seahawks quarterback will be this week at Tampa Bay, although it appears it will remain Matt Hasselbeck.

On his weekly radio show on 710 ESPN Seattle, Carroll said Monday that Hasselbeck will take the snaps with the No. 1 offense.

Hasselbeck was pulled in the third quarter of Sunday’s 34-18 loss to Atlanta after throwing two interceptions and losing a fumble that resulted in a Falcons touchdown. Charlie Whitehurst replaced Hasselbeck and played well, scoring on a 1-yard TD run in the fourth quarter that prompted chants of “Charlie” from the fans that remained.

Seattle (6-8) remained tied with St. Louis on top of the NFC West.
