Eikmeier leads Colorado State to 75-61 victory

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Wes Eikmeier scored a career-high 17 points to lead Colorado State to a 75-61 victory over Northern Colorado on Monday night.

Travis Franklin added 16 points on 12-of-15 shooting for the Rams (5-3), who have beaten the Bears nine consecutive times at home. Andy Ogide had 13 points and Dorian Green 11.

Devon Beitzel had a season-high 29 points for Northern Colorado (4-6) which has won only twice in Fort Collins since the 1935-36 season when both programs were members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Chris Kaba added 11 points for the Bears, who lost their third in a row.
