OREM, Utah (AP) — Geddes Robinson had 21 points and 15 rebounds and Utah Valley cruised to an 80-60 victory over Mayville State Monday night.
Robinson was 7-of-9 from the field for the Wolverines (5-6), who led 38-25 at the half against the NAIA school, which counted the game as an exhibition.
Ben Aird scored 15 points and Jordan Swarbrick had 14 points, eight assists and eight rebounds for Utah Valley.
Three Mayville State players scored in double figures. David Slezak led the Comets with 12 points, Sean Greene scored 11 and Shavontae Samuels had 10.
The Wolverines shot 49 percent from the field and held Mayville State to 32 percent.
