LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Broderick Gilchrest scored 17 points and Deividas Busma added 16 as Idaho State beat Troy 77-73 Wednesday night at the World Vision Invitational.

Busma also had nine rebounds and five blocks for the Bengals (4-7).

Shawntez Patterson scored 17 points and Bernard Toombs 15 for Troy (2-10). Will Weathers added 13 assists and 10 rebounds to go along with his five points.

Idaho State led by four at halftime and never trailed in the second half. Troy got within 67-64 with 3:50 to play after Patterson and Regis Huddleston hit consecutive 3-point shots, but that was as close as the Trojans could get as Mike Lacey and Abner Moreira hit free throws down the stretch for the Bengals.

Troy shot 50 3-point shots, making only 11. Idaho State, meanwhile, shot 61 percent from the field in the second half, including 4 of 6 from behind the 3-point line.
