WASHINGTON (AP) — Sugar Rodgers scored 22 points — including four 3-pointers — and notched a career-high seven assists as No. 20 Georgetown topped Coppin State 73-52 on Wednesday.

Tommacina McBride scored a season-high 11 and Adria Crawford added five steals for the Hoyas (10-3). The teams combined for 53 turnovers, but Georgetown capitalized on mistakes the most, scoring 29 points off 27 Coppin State giveaways.

Larissa Carter scored 13 and Leola Spotwood added 10 for the Eagles (2-7), who lost their fourth in a row and shot just 25.9 percent in the first half.

Coppin State came within eight nearly nine minutes into the game, but Georgetown went on a 17-2 run over the next nine minutes. Rodgers twice ran the length of the court off steals for layups.

The Hoyas, who led 44-20 at halftime, went ahead by as many as 30 as they won their third in a row.
