LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — Long snapper Patrick Mannelly and defensive tackle Matt Toeaina have agreed to multiyear contract extensions with the Chicago Bears.

Mannelly, the Bears’ career leader in games played with 204, got a two-year extension that runs through the 2012 season, while Toeaina is now under contract through 2013 after tacking on three more years.

A sixth-round draft pick by Chicago in 1998, Mannelly has handled the long snapping duties in all but three games and has appeared in a team-leading 136 in a row.

Toeaina has played in 20 games with 34 tackles since he was signed off Cincinnati’s practice squad in 2007. He has made 10 starts this season and appeared in every game, with 28 tackles, two sacks, two pass break-ups and a fumble recovery.
