CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed swingman Alonzo Gee.

The 6-foot-6 Gee previously played for San Antonio and Washington this season. He averaged 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in just under 10 minutes per game. Gee made two starts with the Wizards when rookie John Wall was out with an injury.

Gee joins a struggling Cavs team that has dropped 13 of 14 entering Tuesday night’s home game against the Orlando Magic.

A former Alabama star, Gee was the NBA’s Developmental League rookie of the year in 2010 after averaging 21 points and 6.6 assists for the Austin Toros.
