Firefighters from Fire District 6 and Vancouver converged on a Minnehaha Street apartment complex this evening. However, they were not immediately able to confirm a fire.
The call was reported at 6:56 p.m. at the Evergreen Ridge Apartments, 6208 N.E. 17th Ave., just north of Minnehaha.
Motorists should watch for fire apparatus parked on Minnehaha and other neighborhood streets as firefighters investigate.
Some smoke was reported, but it was possibly from a woodstove. An air inversion is keeping smoke and other pollutants near the ground tonight.
