AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — The King County Sheriff’s office says it’s planning to comb the area in Auburn where last week remains of a woman they think may have been victim of the Green River Killer were found.

The skull and other bones found by teenagers were identified by dental records as those of Becky Marrero, a woman King County investigators think was a victim of convicted serial killer Gary Ridgway nearly three decades ago.

King 5 News reports that King County investigators are planning another search but that they don’t necessarily believe there’s more remains in the area.

Ridgway plead guilty to 48 counts of murder. He was a suspect in Marrero’s death, but was not charged.
