ASHLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a traffic stop near Ashland led to the arrest of a Washington state man and woman and seizure of more than 13 pounds of cocaine valued at about $150,000.

Lt. Kelly Collins says a Chevy Tahoe with Washington plates was stopped on Interstate 5 for a speeding violation. A subsequent investigation led to seizure of cocaine hidden in the vehicle.

Arrested last Friday for investigation of unlawful possession and distribution of a controlled substance and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance were 24-year-old Ruben Ramirez-Ventura of Renton and 28-year-old Marisol Perez-Almonte of Seattle.

Jackson County Jail records show both have Immigration and Customs Enforcement holds.
