SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Forty members of an Air National Guard unit have returned home to Fairchild Air Force Base after six months in Iraq, helping guard the Baghdad airport.
The Spokesman-Review reports families and friends cheered Thursday as the guardsmen climbed out of their plane.
