PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland Police Bureau detectives are checking out a missing persons report filed in 2007 after human remains were found over the weekend on the property of a Southeast Portland home.
Sgt. Greg Stewart said Sunday that the probe is still preliminary and that the remains haven’t been identified.
Stewart says police were called by a citizen around noon Saturday after remains were found on the property of a home that had been associated with a missing persons report.
