Clark County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two robbery suspects Wednesday night after a woman used a handgun to hold up the state liquor store at 13200 N.E. Highway 99 in the Salmon Creek area about 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.

A store employee followed the robber from the store and told 911 dispatchers she got into the passenger side of a light-colored Ford SUV that drove away south on Highway 99.

Deputies converged on the north-south strip and began following several vehicles that matched the store employee’s description — and continued searching for other similar SUVs in the area.

Detective Brian Wade with the sheriff’s Tactical Detective Unit, after an “exhaustive area check,” found a similar vehicle, and a woman who matched the robber’s description in it, according to a bulletin from Sgt. Duncan Hoss.

Arrested were Jennifer L. Selby, 24, and Georgio W. Taylor, 26, both Vancouver residents.

They were found near the Pizza Hut near the 6400 block of Highway 99, said sheriff Sgt. John Horch. At least one of the pair is being investigated in two previous armed robberies.
