ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — A police chase in east Grays Harbor County reached speeds up to 135 miles per hour early Monday before officers used a spike strip to disable the car and arrest two suspects.
Elma Police Chief Jeff Trembly told KXRO the pursuit began in Elma just after midnight when officers attempted to stop a red Acura Integra for a minor traffic violation.
Undersheriff Rick Scott say the pursuit ended when Montesano police laid down the spike strip.
A 24-year-old Grays Harbor County man and a 27-year-old transient fled on foot but were tracked down by Deputy Rob Crawford and his dog Gizmo.
