MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A Grants Pass man who stole guns from a Rogue River store has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Doug Fong says Christopher Falk was caught on surveillance video breaking into Rogue River Pharmacy and Sporting Goods on June 3. The video showed Falk and another suspect shattering the glass of the store’s gun case and making off with numerous firearms.

The 26-year-old contacted a gun buyer the following day, not realizing the buyer was an undercover agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

U.S. District Judge Owen M. Panner sentenced Falk on Monday in Medford.
