KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) — A Jan. 25 court hearing has been scheduled for a Klamath County man accused of attacking a woman.
Police say Robert John Kroeber hit the woman with a closed fist, pulled her hair to keep her from leaving an apartment, put a pillow over her face and hung up the phone while she attempted to call 9-1-1.
Kroeber is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, coercion, assault, strangulation and interfering with making a report. He is being held at the Klamath County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
