VANCOUVER — Cinnabon has closed its Westfield Vancouver mall bakery after operating for more than 10 years on the ground floor west of Sears.

Cinnabon was founded in Seattle in 1985 when it opened its first bakery at the SeaTac Mall. Today, it is owned by private equity firm Roark Capital Group through its affiliate FOCUS Brands in Atlanta. Cinnabon serves its classic cinnamon rolls and other bakery products at more than 600 franchises throughout the U.S. and 30 other countries. Portland stores continue to operate at the Lloyd Center, Clackamas Town Center and Washington Square malls.
