SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Fire Department says a fire at a downtown restaurant was confined to the kitchen area.
Smoke forced the evacuation of people living on upper floors of the 12-story building.
Spokeswoman Helen Fitzpatrick says there were no injuries, and firefighters quickly contained the fire that was reported shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday on the ground floor of the building at 308 Fourth Ave. S.
