MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) — A Snohomish County spokesman says a breach in a levee that runs along Ebey Slough (slew) south of Marysville has caused minor flooding but no damage to homes.

Spokesman Christopher Schwarzen said the break was reported Thursday afternoon. He notes there are few homes in the area and none in danger.

He says the Army Corps of Engineers plans to bring in the giant sandbags known as “super sacks” and the local diking district will bring in fill material to plug the hole.
