SUN VALLEY, Idaho (AP) — A skier has been died following an avalanche at Sun Valley Resort.
Authorities at the ski resort say they responded to a report o f a buried male skier on Bald Mountain Friday afternoon. The skier was found at about 2:46 p.m.
They say he received treatment at the scene and was transported to St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center.
Blaine County deputy coroner Kerry Bingham confirmed the deat but was unable to provide any details about the victim.
