Barbara Bushell has been elected the 2010 chair of the Columbia River Economic Development Council’s 15-member board of directors.
Bushell is director of leasing for PacTrust, a part-owner and the manager of the mixed-use Columbia Tech Center development in east Vancouver. Bushell, who has been a member of the CREDC board for five years, replaces outgoing board chair Kelly McDonald of Clark County Title. The private, nonprofit CREDC works with more than 180 businesses as an economic development agency to promote regional job creation and business investment. Bart Phillips is the development council executive director.
