Police log: Fire set in apartment complex dumpster

Vancouver, WA — A child set fire to a dumpster in the Meadwood Apartment complex, 6811 N.E. 121st. Ave., Monday afternoon, according to emergency dispatch logs.
The fire was aided by chemicals, but was put out by the time it was reported to emergency dispatchers. The fire was reported at 4:53 p.m.
The child’s age was not included in the emergency report.
