BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Colorado man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for robbing an Idaho bank in December.
Federal prosecutors filed the indictment Tuesday charging 47-year-old Philip Laverty Goggin with one count of bank robbery.
The indictment accuses Goggin of taking more than $600 from a bank teller at a Wells Fargo bank in Idaho Falls on December 30. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The U.S. Marshals Service is holding Goggin, who was apprehended in Washington. There are also warrants for Goggin’s arrest in Colorado.
