For 10 years now, Jim Etzkorn has provided leadership and expertise in citizen efforts to keep neighborhood traffic sane.

He’s a past president and constant member of the Neighborhood Traffic Safety Alliance, which advises the city of Vancouver on projects to keep pedestrians safe. He’s also an organizer of the Fairway-164th Neighborhood Association.

Now the NTSA is honoring Etzkorn for his decade of leadership. A drop-in style gathering is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28th, at Juliano’s Pizzeria,15606 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.

“Please come to toast Jim,” said current NTSA chairman Ross Montgomery. “Watch for a balloon to mark our location inside.”
