ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — The Department of Fish and Wildlife will open four razor clam beaches for digging this weekend.
Twin Harbors beach is open Thursday through Sunday. Copalis and Mocrocks will open Friday through Sunday. Kalaloch will open Saturday and Sunday.
The opening follows a delay for testing for high levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning that forced the closure of Long Beach for the weekend dig.
KXRO reports that testing has shown that the clams are safe to eat at the four beaches, which will open on the P.M. tides.
