MADRID (AP) — Spanish police say they have arrested two suspected members of Basque separatist group ETA in northern Spain and discovered a hidden cache containing explosives and bomb-making equipment.

Basque regional police said in a statement that the two men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of belonging to ETA.

They were identified as Zunbeltz Bedialauneta and Urtza Alkorta. The arrests and explosives find happened in the Basque fishing port of Ondarroa where a car bomb explosion blamed on ETA injured 10 people on Sept. 21, 2008.

Police arrested five ETA suspects Tuesday, three of them in Ondarroa.

ETA has killed more than 825 people since launching a violent campaign in the 1960s aimed at carving an independent Basque homeland.
