Renee Newman has been named senior vice president and director of retail banking at First Independent Bank.
Newman will be responsible for the bank’s branch network; virtual banking including, online, mobile and remote channels; community banking for small business owners; and client services. She joined First Independent in 2007 and has more than 18 years of banking experience.
She holds a B.A. in business management from Oregon State University and securities and insurance licenses from Oregon and Washington. Vancouver-based First Independent operates 20 branches in Washington and Oregon.
