CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — A police bomb squad from Nampa has destroyed a possible explosive that was found in a Caldwell home after an eviction.
Caldwell Police Lt. Dave Wright says the homeowner found the device Thursday as he was removing the items left behind by a tenant he’d evicted. The homeowner called police, who also feared the device may be dangerous.
The bomb squad destroyed the object using a robot and a water cannon. Police are still trying to determine exactly what the device was.
