MILWAUKEE (AP) — A person familiar with the negotiations says the Milwaukee Bucks have re-signed free agent guard John Salmons to a five-year, $40 million deal.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Friday because teams can’t officially announce deals until July 8.
The 6-foot-6 Salmons arrived in a trade with Chicago last season and played a critical role in helping the Bucks reach the playoffs.
