SEATTLE (AP) — Dozens of firefighters fought a blaze early Thursday that consumed a Buddhist temple and apartments in Seattle’s International District.

Authorities say at least 30 people were evacuated from the mixed-use building but no injuries were reported.

Fire department spokeswoman Helen Fitzpatrick says the fire broke out shortly after midnight and flames were shooting from all three stories when firefighters arrived.

Fitzpatrick says one person was rescued from the second floor but she wasn’t hurt.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the fire. It was the city’s largest since a June 12 fire killed five people in an apartment.
