MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) — Moses Lake police say a Washington Trust Bank branch was robbed Tuesday afternoon and that the suspect manage to evade authorities.

The Columbia Basin Herald reports that a white male entered the bank around 1:30 p.m. and demanded money, he then fled in a blue-green Honda. No one was injured during the robbery.

Moses Lake Police Chief Dean Mitchell says the man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police recovered a hat and a shirt in the bank’s parking lot.

Mitchell says officers guarded all exit points out of the city, but the suspect was not seen. He says police are checking hotels, grocery stores, parks and hotels for the suspect.

He says they are investigating whether a bank robbery in Omak is linked to the one in Moses Lake. In that case, the suspect was also not caught.
